Day 1 – Dublin

You will visit Croke Park Museum and get an insight into our national games of Gaelic Football and Hurling. View the the world-famous Book of Kells at Trinity College OR perhaps visit the renown St. Patrick’s Cathedral Ireland’s largest Cathedral. Tour the magical Guinness Storehouse and sample a pint of the black stuff from the rooftop Gravity Bar.
Day 2 -Meath

You will go on an Ancient East Experience where you will go back in time to a land that dates older than the pyramids. Newgrange Stone Age Monument is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dated 3200BC. We visit the scene of the Battle of the Boyne, the Celtic High Crosses and Round Tower of Monasterboice, the charming Slane Village and Slane Castle OR Slane Whiskey Distillery nearby.
Day 3 – Kilkenny

Today we drive into the heart of medieval Kilkenny City and visit the magnificent 12 century Kilkenny Castle. We visit St. Canice’s Cathedral with the opportunity to climb the nearby Round Tower, Kilkenny’s oldest and tallest building. We travel southwards to the picturesque Blarney Castle and Gardens and for those who dare, climb the steps to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone.
Day 4 – Kerry

We travel around the beautiful Ring of Kerry stopping off at some of Kerry’s most scenic view points and quaintest towns and villages. We drive through Killarney National Park visiting Torc Waterfall and the stunning Muckross House. Saviour the atmosphere in some of Killarney’s bustling pubs where the whiskey is great and ‘the craic is mighty’.
Day 5 – Clare

We get the ferry across Irelands longest river the river Shannon before a visit to the surfing town of Lahinch then onto Irelands most visited natural tourist attraction, the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. We stop at the coastal village of Doolin before a drive across the Burren National Park on route to Galway City in the West of Ireland.
Day 6 – Connemara

On day six, you will travel across the picturesque Connemara mountains with stops at Cong Village made famous by the legendary film ‘the quiet man’, the astounding Ashford Castle, and Kylemore Abbey. You will also witness the famous Joyce Country Sheepdog demonstration a must see while in Connemara National Park. The bustling bars of Galway City await later in the evening.
Day 7 – Galway

Enjoy a leisurely walking tour of Galway City and learn the history of the land of the tribes OR perhaps enjoy some down time to explore the many shops along Quay Street and Eyre Square. Walk along the Salthill Pomanade and savour the fresh Atlantic sea air. We drive you back across the land with a stop at Kilbeggan Whiskey Distillery, Irelands oldest working distillery before arriving back in Dublin City.
